This past Monday, Nov. 14, registration for the Class of 2026 opened after it was initially postponed due to Subtropical Storm Nicole. During the scheduled time blocks, however, many students ran into unexpected IT troubles while using the Ellucian self-service platform.
The technical issues persisted throughout the school day, preventing the Spring 2023 registration for first-year students. Following the incidents, IT Support Director Kendra Strode sent out multiple email notifications to inform students of the problem.
As of Nov. 15, full access to the Ellucian has been successfully restored. Strode stated in an update that “after disruption to the online registration system yesterday, we are seeing positive signs that registration was working again. The IT team and Registrar’s office are continuing to monitor the system.”
If you are experiencing issues with registration or have concerns about your Spring 2023 schedule, please contact your advisor or visit the Registrar’s office in Carnegie Hall.
